Age Limit:
- Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control): Maximum age 27 years
(a) Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates. Vacancies reserved for OBC category are for candidates belonging to ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ category as per Government guidelines. of India on the subject.
(b) Relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit for PWBD candidates.
(c) For ex-servicemen, age relaxation is applicable as prescribed by the Government. Orders of India issued from time to time.
(d) Candidates in regular service of AAI and those who have completed probation on initial appointment will get maximum relaxation of 10 years in upper age limit.
(e) Only date of birth recorded in Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificates will be accepted. Any subsequent request for change in date of birth will not be entertained.
Eligibility AAI Recruitment 2023:
- Three-year full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc) in Science with Physics and Mathematics. or
- Full Time Regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline. (Physics and Mathematics should be subjects in any semester syllabus).
- Candidate must have minimum proficiency in spoken and written English at 10+2 standard level (Candidate must have passed English as a subject in class 10 or 12)
Note: (i) Graduation should be from: a) Recognized/Deemed University or an Apex Institute recognized by Govt (IIT/IIMs/XLRI/TISS etc.). of India; and b) Percentage of marks: – Pass marks or equivalent for Bachelor’s degree. (ii) Candidates with BE/B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engineering.) is permitted to apply for the degree for which the essential qualification is prescribed as Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. (iii) Departmental candidates possessing recognized degrees as per required minimum qualification obtained through part-time/ correspondence/ distance education mode are eligible to apply.
Application Fee AAI Recruitment 2023:
- General/OBC/EWS: 1000/-
- For SC/ST/PWD/ Women: No Fee
(ii) Application fee of Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) (inclusive of GST) shall be paid by the applicants through online mode only. Fees submitted in any other mode will not be accepted. However, SC/ST/PWD candidates/apprentices who have successfully completed one year apprenticeship training under AAI/women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
(ii) The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
(iii) On clicking the Submit button, the candidate will be navigated to the SBI MOPS Payment Portal. Candidates have to deposit the required examination fee online through internet banking/debit/credit card. Check the applicable charges/commission for the selected ‘Payment Mode’ which will be borne by the candidate.
Selection Process AAI Recruitment 2023:
- (i) Before filling the application form the candidate should read the important instructions carefully and ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other criteria mentioned in the advertisement. Providing false/false information will lead to disqualification and AAI will not be responsible for the consequences of providing such false/false information.
- (ii) Based on the details provided in the application form, the provisionally qualified candidates will be called for online examination and will be issued admit cards accordingly. Candidates must visit the AAI website to download the admit cards for the online examination through the link provided on the website.
- (iii) Objective Type Online Examination (Computer Based Examination) will be conducted for the post of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control). There will be no negative marks for candidates attempting a wrong answer. Syllabus will be uploaded under “Press Note” of Advt No: 05/2023.
- (iv) Application Verification/ Voice Test/ Psychoactive Substance Test/ Psychological Assessment Test/ Medical Test/ Background Verification after on-line examination as applicable to the post or any other test as may be decided by any Competent Authority. Phase of the recruitment process.
