Educational qualification

Executive Trainee (Mechanical) – Graduation in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.

Executive Trainee (Electrical) – Graduation in Electrical Engineering with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.

Executive Trainee (Electronics) – Graduation in Electronics Engineering with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.

Executive Trainee (Instrumentation) – Graduation in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.

Executive Trainee (Naval Architecture) – Graduation in Naval Architecture with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University.

Executive Trainee (Safety) – Graduation in Safety Engineering from a recognized University with minimum 65% marks.

Executive Trainee (Information Technology) – Essential:- a) Graduation in Engineering in Computer Science from a recognized University with minimum 65% marks or b) Graduation in Engineering in Information Technology from a recognized University with minimum 65% marks or c) Post Graduation in Computer Application / Minimum 65 from a recognized University Computer Science/ Information Technology with % Marks. Desirable:- Valid certification from reputed agencies / organizations in Programming Language / DBMS / Networking / ERP Systems.

Executive Trainee (Human Resource) – a) Graduation from a recognized University with minimum 65% marks and b) Two years Post Graduate Degree or equivalent degree or equivalent Diploma or Post Graduate Degree in any of the following fields with minimum 65% marks from a recognized University:- (i ) Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in HR or equivalent degree with specialization in HR or equivalent Diploma with specialization in HR or (ii) Master’s degree in Social Work with specialization in Personnel Management or Labor Welfare & Industrial Relations or (iii) ) Master’s degree in Personnel Management .

Executive Trainee (Finance) – Pass Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

Age limit

Upper age limit fixed for all posts is 27 years as on 20th July 2023 i.e.

Applicants should be born on or after 21st July 1996. Upper age limit relaxation for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates by 3 years and SC/ST category by 5 years only for consideration for posts reserved for respective categories. Age relaxation for Benchmark Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) will be as per Government of India guidelines.

Salary Details

The salary and pay scale offered by Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) for the post of Executive Trainee is very attractive. A consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000/- will be provided during the training period of one year. Additional stipend up to ₹3,000/-pm is also provided if additional training hours are required.

After successful completion of training, trainees will be considered for appointment as Assistant Managers in the pay scale of ₹40000-3%-140000. They also get Industrial Dearness Allowance, HRA, benefits and various other benefits as per company rules. Minimum CTC in E1 scale is ₹13.0 lakh per annum.

Application fee

CSL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2023 requires an application fee of ₹1000/-. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid online using various options like Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Wallets/UPI. However, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWBD) candidates are exempted from paying this fee.
