Educational Qualification Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2023 :
General Service (GS(X)): BE/BTech in any subject with minimum 60% marks.
Air Traffic Controller (ATC)/Naval Air Operations Officer (NAOO)/Pilot:
- BE/B. Tech in any subject with minimum 60% marks.
- Candidate should have 60% marks in aggregate in class 10th and 12th and minimum 60% marks in English in class 10th or 12th).
Logistics:
- BE/B. Tech in any subject with first class or
- MBA with first class or
- BSc / BCom / BSc (IT) with First Class with PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Materials Management, or
- MCA/MSc (IT) with 1st Class.
Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC):
- BE/B with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical / Mechanical, Automation / Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Microelectronics / Instrumentation / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation & Control / Production / Control / Control / Automation. Education Branch:
- 60 percent marks for M.Sc. (Mathematics/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc.
- 60 percent marks for M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics) with Mathematics B.Sc.
- 60 percent marks for M.Sc. Chemistry with Physics in B.Sc.
- BE/B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical Engineering.
- BE/BTech (Electrical/Electronics & Communication Engg.) with minimum 60% marks.
- 60% marks in M-Tech from a recognized University/Institute in any of the following subjects.

For NCC Candidates: NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given 5% relaxation in cut-off marks for shortlisting to SSB subject to fulfillment of the following criteria:-
- Should have NCC ‘C’ Certificate of Naval/Army/Air Wing with minimum ‘B’ Grade.
- Not less than two academic years service in Senior Division in Naval/Army/Air Wing of NCC.
- ‘C’ certificate should not be earlier than 01 June 2020.

Selection Process Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2023 :
- The selection process is based on Eligibility & includes The interview
- Shortlisting of applications is based on the normalized marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying degree.
- Candidates selected in the final merit list are required to submit the proof of completion of qualifying degree with minimum 60% marks by sending email to officer@navy.gov.in.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by applicants in their application form).
- Candidates are advised not to change e-mail/mobile number till completion of selection process and check their inbox and spam folder frequently.
- Merit list will be prepared based on SSB marks for all entries subject to availability of vacancies and medical clearance for respective entries.
- Candidates declared qualified in medical examination will be appointed as per the availability of vacancies in admission.

Note:
- Applicants should take a printout of the application and carry it while appearing for the SSB interview.
- Probation period for SSC (NAIC) officers is three years and for officers of other branches/cadres two years.
- The period of probation commences from the date of allotment of the rank of Sub-Lieutenant and ends after three years for SSC (NAIC) and two years for other branches/cadres or on completion of initial training (whichever is later).
- During the probationary period, the officers are liable for discharge if there is unsatisfactory performance at any stage.
- Only unmarried candidates are eligible for the training.
- Duration of Commission: Selected candidates will be granted short service commission initially for a period of 10 years, extendable up to a maximum of 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years) subject to service requirements, performance, medical qualification and willingness of the candidates.
