Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed matriculate or 10th standard in 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
- Technical Qualification: ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/ SCVT is mandatory in relevant trade.

Selection Process:
- Under the Apprentices Act, 1961, the selection of eligible applicants for training is based on the merit list, which is prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks secured by the applicants in both the matriculations. [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI exam gives equal weightage to both.
- Older applicants will be given preference in case of two applicants having same marks. If the date of birth is actually the same, the applicants who have cleared the matriculation examination earlier will be considered first. There will be no written test or viva.
- Applicants need not send any copies of application/certificates/documents to RRC/WR by post but upload them online.
